Boston Bar Association – 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Family Law practice typically involves the intersection of a legal problem (like divorce) with numerous non-legal issues including financial, communication, and parenting issues.  In litigation, many practitioners first instinct is to hire an expert to assist them in presenting these issues at trial. However, in many instances, hiring a neutral expert can be a more efficient and practical method of addressing these non-legal issues. Neutral experts can assist with tax analyses, support scenarios, business valuation, communication, child development, and case evaluation. Understanding how to effectively work with neutral experts can reduce the stress and cost of family law matters.

After this seminar, attendees will know when and how to involve neutral financial experts, consultants, coaches, child specialists, mediators and conciliators.
